The Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board (HSNC Board) established in 1983. It bears the name of Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, the father of Dada Kishinchand T. Shahani, one of Mumbai’s most renowned philanthropists.
The Sindhi Community created the HSNC Board as a charitable trust in 1922. Over 27 institutes are currently managed and governed by it under its umbrella.

The Late Barrister was made the Founder-President of the first college the Board created, R.D. National College, Bandra, Mumbai, while Vidyasagar Principal K.M. Kundnani was made the Founder-Secretary and Founder-Principal.
One of the oldest private engineering colleges in India, TSEC was one of the first to offer undergraduate-level courses in the specialisations of computer engineering, information technology, and biomedical engineering after receiving approval from the Maharashtra Directorate of Technical Education on September 16, 1983..
Dr. Niranjan Hirandani, Managing Director of Hiranandani Constructions, presently serves as the institute’s leader.
