NIT Sikkim

Even though it is only temporary, NIT Sikkim has a current campus in Ravangla is surrounded by a wealth of modern facilities and beautiful natural features. In Ravangla, there is a health center as well. The campus consists of sixteen three-story blocks, each with six two-bedroom flats, for a total of 96 apartments. These are used as staff flats, faculty housing, and hostels for both boys and girls. Cots, tables, and chairs are included in the furnishings of each unit. One Academic facility: There are three classrooms, two computer rooms, and three faculty rooms in this facility. After the director was appointed in 2011, necessary benches, desks, tables, seats, and almirahs were bought.

Students can participate in other aspects of the NIT Sikkim, such as physical education, games, sports, and cultural activities, to stay fit and energized. The institute hosts a variety of athletic events, games, and cultural activities. Every hostel has the amenities of Table Tennis, Carom Boards, and Chess Boards for regular games and sporting events. There are also numerous well-kept fields where students can play cricket, volleyball, ho-kho, and football. There is also a well-kept indoor badminton court on campus. For the comfort of playing at night, all the fields and courts have adequate lighting facilities. Students consistently perform well in the several Inter-NIT tournaments that are hosted by the various NITs across the nation. Additionally, the institute hosts an annual sports meet to encourage students to participate in games and sports. Along with all the indoor and outdoor activities and sports, numerous athletic events are planned.
