Kumaun University

The state established Kumaun Institution, a 160-acre institution, in 1973. Three campuses divide the University. These are the D.S.B. Campus in Nainital, the SSJ Campus in Almora, and the Campus in Bhimtal.  Kumaun University has around 65 affiliated colleges, including 49 government colleges.

ACADEMICS

It provides UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in a variety of topics, as well as many other courses. BA, B.Sc., LLB, B.Pharma, B.Ed, LLM, MA, M.Sc., MBA, MCA, M.Pharma, and Ph.D. are some of the most popular courses among the 336 available.

FACULTY

The college faculty is highly qualified, well-trained, and has extensive expertise. They have an excellent command of their respective subjects. They also encourage pupils in whatever manner they can and assist them when necessary. The faculty particularly wants to know what is going on in the students’ lives, how they are performing, and how they can provide more information. The majority of the faculty highly educate themselves.

FACILITIES

The hostel is 1 kilometer away from the department. There is also no specific hostel. It is integrated with the biotechnology department. As a hostel facility, students must manage there . The hostel rooms provide adequate accommodation, but lack high-end amenities. They will not hold any festivals or other activities. I do not recommend this if you are interested in sports. Classes are large enough to accommodate 30 students. There are no extracurricular activities. There are no acts of social group.

PLACEMENT

Kumaun University, Nainital Placement 2023 report is still pending. The 2020-21 placement campaign placed 10 B.Pharm and 18 M.Pharm students according to the Kumaun University, Nainital NIRF report 2022. The average package for B.Pharm students was INR 2.50 LPA, whereas the average package for M.Pharm students was INR 4.00 LPA.
