In Gandhinagar (IIPHG), Gujarat, India, there is a private institution called the Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar (IIPHG). The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) established the university in 2015 under  Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar Act, 2015. It was the first of five Indian Institutes of Public Health founded by PHFI to get university status. The institution is the first in India to only study public health. In order to build the institute, the Government of Gujarat and the Public Health Foundation of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2007In 2008, Gujarat’s then-chief minister, Narendra Modi, lay the cornerstone. 2008, the institute opened its doors from a temporary facility in Ahmedabad. 2015, the institute received university status and opened a permanent campus in Gandhinagar. The Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) offers a two-year, full-time Master of Public Health (MPH) programme. The healthcare industry in India is expanding quickly industry is anticipated to reach the US$ 372 billion revenue mark (IBEF) by 2022, growing at a cumulative average rate of 16%. Up until 2022, the industry will generate 7.4 million new jobs (KPMG India). a large portion of these revenues and Hospitals, which make up 70% of the healthcare industry, will produce jobs. The demand for professionally trained hospital managers is increasing along with this industry’s explosive growth. A well-run hospital produces superior-quality medical results and happy patients. Hospital administrators who have received professional training are currently in extremely short supply in India. Only a small number of academic institutions concentrate on developing qualified hospital administrators for our situations.
The inability to have a qualified hospital administrator prevents medical staff from concentrating completely on providing medical care. The hospital can experience inefficiency and worse outcomes as a result of this.
