University Of Kashmir

Informally known as Kashmir University, the University of Kashmir  is a collegiate public state university in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Established in 1948 and situated on the western side of Dal Lake. The college divides its fundamental grounds into three sections.

The college offers undergrad, postgraduate and doctoral projects in the fields of human sciences, business, trade and the board studies, training, regulation and applied sciences and Innovation, organic sciences, physical and material sciences, sociologies, medication, dentistry, designing, oriental learning, and music and expressive arts.

Scholarships

Merit scholarships

The university awards two merit scholarships to the two students with the highest scores who are accepted into its various programs and courses.. A merit scholarship is given to paid students from the previous year based on how well they did on the course entrance exam.

Research scholarships
Every Division/Exploration Center grants six departmental grants for research prompting the honor of PhD/M.Phil. degrees and an annual contingency grant to cover various post.

Students aid
The university has adopted a scheme called “Student Aid Fund”, under which financial assistance is extended to students, particularly the meritorious ones from low-income groups.

Sports
The college laid out the Directorate of Actual Training and Sports in 1948.
