Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan

A private, deemed university called Shiksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), formerly known as Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University (SOA University), is situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. There are approximately 15,000 students enrolled in the university’s nine degree-granting schools and colleges. Numerous SOA programs, such as those in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, business, nursing, biotechnology, science, humanities, environment, nanotechnology, materials science, agriculture, and law, are nationally certified.

In 1966 it was established in Bhubaneswar under the name Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), and it was given AICTE clearance for B.Tech. Ever since it was founded it has been associated with Utkal University. Between 2002 to 2007, it was then associated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT). The 200 acres (0.81 km2) of campuses that make up SOA University are dispersed throughout the city of Bhubaneswar.

Further, for undergraduate programs in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, business, nursing, biotechnology, agriculture, and law; graduate programs in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, business, nursing, biotechnology, science, humanities, environment, nanotechnology, materials science, agriculture, and law; and doctoral degrees in the aforementioned fields, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan has ten degree-granting schools and institutes.

A dean oversees research at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan along with the other faculty members. Currently, 599 research experts have received doctoral degrees, while more than 1000 are working for their degrees. Also, there are currently sixteen research centers for basic and fundamental research at Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan.
