In 2006, deemed-to-be university status was given to the Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology (commonly known as SIET Meerut). UGC, NCTE, BCI, and NATS all acknowledge its legitimacy. The Deemed-to-Be University has received AICTE approval and NAAC accreditation with a “B” grade.

ACADEMICS

Additionally, Shobhit University has agreements in place with Western Sydney University in Australia, Microsoft Corporation India Private Limited, and Pentecost University College in Ghana. The Meerut-based Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology offers full-time BTech, BSc (Hons), BBA, BCom (Hons), BA (Hons), BA LLB, BCom LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), D.EI.Ed, MTech, MCA, B.Ed, LLB, LLM, MCom, MA, MPhil, and PhD programs in a variety of specializations.

FACULTY

HOSTEL

On the university site, there is a separate hostel for male students. The dormitory has eating facilities where the students may get wholesome cuisine. All of the dorm rooms for boys are furnished with various pieces of basic furniture and other amenities including bathrooms, central heating/air conditioning, and tiny kitchenettes in some.

LIBRARY

The library serves as a hub for educational materials and promotes projects in education, research, and development. All essential, functional, and applied subjects of study have a substantial collection of books in the main library. Students commonly subscribe to media for the quick transfer of knowledge.

PLACEMENT

The University Training Development Center, which serves as a special placement center, is located in Shobhit University. The Shobhit University Placement Center must coordinate all recruitment-related activities. To make sure that students from the university are a benefit to any company that hires them, skill-development modules, English language, and personality grooming sessions.
