National Institute Of Technology, Rourkela

One of the top national-level technical education institutions in the nation, NIT Rourkela is supported by the Indian government. Further, the Regional Engineering College in Rourkela has been upgraded by the Indian government to presumed status as the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela.

The Institute’s campus, which is made up of the Institute’s buildings, residential halls, and staff colony, is located on 262 hectares of land granted by the Government of Orissa near the eastern edge of Rourkela Steel City, past Sector 1.
