This AICTE-approved Institute of GGSIP University is conveniently located in the Janakpuri Institutional District of New Delhi. MSIT was founded in 2001 and features an eight-acre campus with attractive eco-friendly surroundings. The Maharaja Surajmal Institute Of Technology relocated to a larger seven-story building with a built-up area of 17837 sq.m from a four-story, 6279-square-meter building. In a short period of time, the institute has acquired and built significant facilities, talent, and resources for providing high-quality engineering education. The institute offers Bachelor of Technology degrees in CSE, IT, ECE, and EEE.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The infrastructure includes well-lit lecture halls, fully furnished labs, seminar halls, staff rooms, a huge play area, and so on. The labs of Applied Sciences, Applied Mechanics, and Electrical Engg are well-equipped. New students have access to a well-established Workshop and a well-lit Drawing Hall.The six modern air-conditioned networked computer labs cover the entire range of Computer Science and IT subjects such as Software Engineering, Network Technology, Mobile Computing, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, Computer Graphics, Compiler Construction, Algorithm Analysis & Design, Interface Programming, Data Structure, DBMS, and Object Oriented Programming.

LIBRARY

The Maharaja Surajmal Central Library supports the teaching and research programs of three institutes: the Maharaja Surajmal Institute, the Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, and the Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology. All students, faculty members, and Institute personnel have access to the Library’s resources. The Library has a well-stocked fully computerized library with the most recent editions of books by eminent authors, as well as a large collection of books on education, management.

HOSTEL

In a huge and attractive four-story building with all linked facilities, Hostel accommodates around 200 boys and 100 girls. They offer a reasonable cost for food that is both sanitary and healthy.

PLACEMENT

There is an active training and placement department on campus that is working hard to organize many training and placement activities . Prof. H.S. Rawat, Director – T&P, SMES, leads the department. The placement department has provided amazing chances for our students in numerous reputable firms with attractive pay packages. There is a concentrated effort to ensure that students strive for academic brilliance in order to get the greatest results.
