Kalindi College

Kalindi College,Since its founding in 1967, the College has come a long way and is now regarded as a place where students may embrace their futures with optimism and confidence. All parties’ years of diligent work have shown us the way forward. The goal of Kalindi College, a constituent college of the University of Delhi, is to provide higher education to young women who have a desire for a better, more satisfying future for all. Our students are able to achieve the highest honours in academics, sports, and other extracurricular activities thanks to a nurturing environment backed by a combination of competent infrastructure and a committed teaching staff.

The institution had a modest beginning as “Government College Devnagar,” but within a year it was moved to its current home in East Patel Nagar, which was once again a Government School building.

At first, the college offered Group B (Undergraduate Programme) courses in humanities and pure science. The establishment of Humanities Honours Courses in 1971, Commerce (Prog.) in 1977, Honours Courses in the Sciences – Physics (1990), Mathematics (1992), Computer Science (1997), professional course in Journalism (1995), and Honours in Commerce (1998) illustrate Kalindi’s progressive movement. Additionally added to its repertoire were postgraduate courses in political science (1987), hindi (1991), and sanskrit (1992). Botany, zoology, chemistry, and geography honours courses have recently been established.

In keeping with these ideas, the college wants to be recognised as a place where students may embrace the future with optimism.
