JSPM’S Rajarshi Shahu College

One of Pune’s renowned institutions, JSPM’S Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering was founded in 2001 with the mission of delivering superior technical education and excellence in the ever-expanding field of the 21st century’s technological revolution. In the state of Maharashtra, the institute is quickly rising to prominence in the area of engineering education. Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Manadal Trust nurtures and oversees it. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and the Maharashtra government have both authorised the institute, which is a part of Savitribai Phule Pune University.

The institute offers one MBA and one MCA in addition to four post-graduate engineering programmes (ME-Computer, ME-VLSI and Embedded System, ME-Structures, and ME-Design). The “Ph.D. Research Centre” for mechanical and civil engineering is JSPM’S Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering .SPPU’s “Mech, Civil, and E&TC Research Centre.” The National Board of Accreditation in New Delhi has granted three times of accreditation to all undergraduate programmes. Additionally certified by NAAC, RSCOE received a “A” rating. Recently, the UGC granted RSCOE autonomy, enabling RSCOE to create modern curricula that are applicable to industry in order to maximise graduates’ employability.

The Institute has won the Platinum Category AICTE-CII Award for the last two years in a row, 2017–18 and 2018–19.

The UGC has granted the college autonomous status beginning with the 2019–20 academic year.
