IIIT Vadodara

IIIT Vadodara, The Ministry of Education, Government of India founded the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara in 2013 under a Public Private Partnership. Courses at IIIT Vadodara include computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, sciences, architecture, and others.

Engineering courses are available at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels at IIIT Vadodara. IIITV offers  (B.Tech.),  (M.Tech.) VS  (Ph.D.) degrees the fields of information technology and science.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara is a public-private partnership (PPP) institute established by the Ministry of Education (MoE) . of the Government of India to develop new knowledge in information technology and to provide manpower of global standards for the information technology industry, as well as to provide for certain other matters connected with such institutions or incidental thereto.

Gujarat State Fertilisers and Chemicals, and Tata Consultancy Services are the project’s partners. IIIT-V is now operating from temporary facilities at Government Engineering College (Gandhinagar) till its new campus in Vadodara becomes operational.

the 2017 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (Public-Private Partnership) Act, which is administered by the Indian government.The institute is given the designation of Institute of National Importance under the act. IIIT Vadodara will confer degrees on the graduates. In the Academic Year 2020-21, It has admitted its first batch of 75 BTech students.

Currently, the institute is based at the Government Engineering College Campus in Sector 28, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The Gujarat government has allocated 50 acres of land at Knowledge City near Dumad, Vadodara, Gujarat.
