Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC)

In 1886, Chennai founded a commercial school, officially beginning commerce education in India. The Commercial Education Trust was founded in Delhi by seven prominent businessmen, led by Lala Shri Ram, on Basant Panchmi Day in 1920, marking the beginning of the College. The Commercial School was the name of the Trust’s first institution, which it opened in the same year at Charkhewalan in pre-independence Delhi’s walled city.

ACADEMICS

There are 8 academic departments at SRCC, including those for politics, economics, math, hindi, and business. Shri Ram College of Commerce offers two UG and PG courses, as well as one PG Diploma course. The college offers B. A. and B.COM in the undergraduate program.

INFRASTRUCTURE

HOSTEL

To accommodate male students who come from all parts of the nation and the world, the college has a boys hostel on its campus. The College’s various programs distribute seats throughout the different semesters to house one hundred fifty students in the Boys Hostel. The completely Wi-Fi connected hostel.
