Rajasthan University of Health Sciences

The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) was founded on February 25th, 2005, pursuant to State Government Act “The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Act, 2005” (Act No. 1 of 2005). The mission of the university is to improve and spread knowledge in the medical and health sciences.

. The Act of State Government authorised the establishment of RUHS in the year 2005. The University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) both recognise the university.  RUHS offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in a number of disciplines, including paramedical science, nursing, dentistry, and medicine. At the UG and PG levels, the university also provides Diplomas in a variety of specialisations.

Admission to the RUHS MBBS programme is dependent on NEET results.

Clinical and preclinical laboratories, a sterilisation room, a departmental library, and an IT room are all available at RUHS Jaipur.

To promote the dissemination of knowledge in medicine and dentistry and to assure effective and organised training, instruction, and research in these fields;

To administer, manage, and regulate the hospitals, including the Rehabilitation and Artificial Limb Centre, Jaipur, pathological laboratories, diagnostic centres, and blood banks; to treat patients in its hospitals; to create a nursing training facility;
Create a department of telemedicine;
Creating a genetics department, an environment and pollution control institute, a reproductive and population control research institute, etc.
To advance transfusion medicine, a nutrition research facility, gene therapy, molecular biology, robotic surgery, bioinformatics, and organ development.
