The Nirma Technology University , founded in 1995, is its premier institution.

The Institute of Technology is a subsidiary institution of Nirma University, which will receive an NAAC accreditation rating of “A+” in 2022.

The institute stands out among the more than 4000 engineering colleges in the nation thanks to its ranking of 125 in the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF).  The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has granted Tier-I accreditation to all BTech programmes.

Beginning with the academic year 2022–2023, the Institute will be implementing the National Education Policy 2020 for undergraduate students.  The curriculum must incorporate significant applications relating to sustainability, health, and the environment to improve students’ employability of the youth.

The institute provides a full-time undergraduate programme covering many engineering and technological subjects.
The students work and research on their selected area of specialisation, area, or subject during the two-year postgraduate programmes.
