Methodist College of Engineering and Technology

The non-minority educational institution Methodist College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) was founded in 2008. It is on the expansive 5.0-acre grounds of the former Methodist campus in Abids, Hyderabad. The college offers students a calm, peaceful environment that develops their mental capacity and equips them in every way to compete successfully in the global marketplace. The MCET has AICTE, New Delhi, approval and is associated with Osmania University, Hyderabad. The College has been granted NAAC accreditation with an A+ grade. Also, the NBA has granted accreditation to all applicable UG programs.

Methodist College of Engineering and Technology works to achieve excellence by teaching both fundamental technical knowledge and a comprehensive approach to developing its students into honorable, responsible citizens of the future. The 555.29 square meter Central Library and Information Center is a brightly lit and well-ventilated space. With 5,000 volumes when it first opened in 2008, the MCET Library presently includes more than 22,669 volumes, 3448 titles, and 86 printed journals. We have printed materials other than books. Also, the daily housekeeping operations of the libraries across the campuses are fully automated and computerized at the Central Library and Information Center using KOHA Open Source Software.
