Kanpur Institute of Technology (also known as KIT) was founded in 2004 by the Indus Technical Education Society (ITES), a group of ambitious and imaginative IIT alumni (Shri P.K. Jain, Shri Vipul Jain, Shri Anil Kumar Agarwal, & Mrs. Neena Verma). B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, BFA, BFAD, and Polytechnic courses are offered by KIT. KIT is an AICTE-approved, ISO 9001: 2015-certified institution that is also affiliated with AKTU and BTE Lucknow.

The placement cell of Kanpur Institute of Technology is tasked with an extremely important job. It is of choosing, inviting, and maintaining contact with the companies that KIT, Kanpur searches for 100% of its student placements. It is one of KIT Kanpur’s facilitation centers, which collaborates with business and continually works to improve the industry-academic relationship. Every student hopes to receive a job offer through campus placements while still maintaining the institute’s reputation. It insists on students’ passion and provides every chance for them to investigate everything.

Through considerable industry cooperation, the Skill Development Cell focuses on raising skill levels to meet worldwide standards and creating the appropriate structure and standards for our students’ training. This cell’s goals are to promote students’ competency and skill development through the delivery of recognized training programs across many industries, along with rewards and certification upon successful completion. The Skill Development Cell at KIT focuses on the SAT principle—Soft Skills, Aptitude, and Technical Skills—which, in a nutshell, describes a student’s level of business readiness.
