Jasdev Singh Sandhu Degree College

The JSS Foundation has made the decision to diversify and launch a new institution with the name “Jasdev Singh Sandhu Degree College” beginning with the upcoming academic year 2013–14 in order to further fulfill the expectations of the people living in the region’s rural areas. Graduate and postgraduate courses will be offered by the institute.

Jasdev Singh Sandhu Degree College has a large, well-equipped library that meets the needs of both students and teachers in terms of academics, leisure, literature, information, and a variety of interests. Moreover, the library has an extensive collection of about 8,000 books on all topics connected to the course. Additionally, the library has dictionaries, encyclopedias, six newspapers in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, as well as a variety of journals, periodicals, and magazines. All bookshelves and other resources are open to students without any restrictions. Further, more than 200 people can fit in the Multipurpose Hall, which also features a sound system and chairs.

The college has a variety of labs where students can get hands-on experience.   Furthermore, Students receive training here to discover their artistic talent and originality. Also, it includes several works of fine art and folk art produced by students each year.
