The University is located in Hisar, a fast-growing town located 167 kilometers from Delhi on the Delhi – Rohtak – Hisar – Sirsa – Fazilka National Highway (NH-9) and 231 kilometers from Chandigarh on the NH-152. The University covers an area of approximately 372 acres. The campus is designed with beautiful scenery, multiple buildings of diverse styles, and a large road network. It is a sight of architectural harmony and natural beauty. Approximately 275 acres of land have been developed, with all amenities including water supply, street lighting, electricity supply, and parks/lawns, among others. The University features two cafeterias, each having a large dining hall, kitchen, store, and other amenities.

CAMPUS

The university has established a Networking Cell to meet the needs of students, employees, and faculty in the field of information and communication technologies. A combination of wired and wireless networks links all teaching departments, dorms, administrative buildings, and other offices at the moment. The wireless network spans practically the entire campus.

FACILITIES

HOSTEL

Nine hostels can accommodate more than 2000 students (four for boys, four for girls, and one for working women). All of the hostels have basic amenities such as commercial RO with UV & ozonator, water coolers, LED TV, electric geysers, telephone services, insect killers, appropriate playgrounds, and other recreational facilities such as chessboards, carom boards, badminton, and so on. For any medical situations, the hostels have an ambulance service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

SPORTS

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar University’s Directorate of Sports has been in operation since 1996. Football, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Yoga, Karate, Kabaddi, Weight Lifting, and Shooting Range are among the games available at the University, as is a 400-meter athletic track. There are also two Lawn Tennis courts with practice walls. The Directorate of Sports has erected one high-tech gym in the Multipurpose Hall.

PLACEMENT

Improving the employability of our young professionals and providing them with as many job possibilities as possible. With state-of-the-art infrastructure in the form of a Seminar Hall  and Group Discussion Room. Interview Room, and WiFi, the Training & Placement Cell facilitates numerous campus placement drives through Pre-Placement lectures, written examinations, group discussions, and personal interviews.
