Guru Jambh-Eshwar University of Science and Technology was founded thanks to Act No. 17 of the 1995 Haryana State Legislature. Additionally, the university bears the name of Guru Jambh-Eshwar Ji, a saint and social reformer who promoted environmental preservation and sustainable living.
