All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’S College, In order to advance the noble cause of education, Late H H Shrimant Shri Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj of Kolhapur founded the All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society (AISSMS) in 1917. In 1992, the coeducational AISSMS COE in Pune was founded.

The University of Pune is associated with the College of Engineering. It offers AICTE-approved programmes that lead to the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in eight engineering streams and the Master of Engineering (ME) in seven engineering streams.
