Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology

In 1995, the Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology was established. It is situated in a large campus that spans 32.04 acres on NH-40 (formerly known as NH-18) in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh. Through interviews and national-level competitive examinations, the institute draws the best students from around the nation. It holds that academic achievement alone cannot help these students reach their full potential. Through literary, cultural, and sports groups, students are given the chance to discover and develop their talents in extracurricular activities. This encourages kids to develop their own self-management abilities and basic beliefs, all of which work together to shape them into well-rounded individuals.

The students participate in a variety of additional tasks. The student body actively plans and executes every big event, including youth festivals and technical competitions. There is student representation on a number of administrative committees, such as the Hostel Governing Body, Canteen Committee, Course Monitoring, Discipline Committee, etc. Each student committee collaborates in some capacity with the teachers. Indirectly, this fosters rich experiential learning in the science of management by giving students the chance to assume responsibility and better understand the issues, limitations, and imperatives that are inherent in the day-to-day management of an organization.

The goal of Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology is to transform our rural engineering college into a technical education center of excellence that meets global standards and the demands of society. We also want to instill value-based education with the noble mission of “Education for Peace and Progress.” Moreover, its quality policy aims to improve teaching and learning.
