Noorul Islam Centre For Higher Education

The Ministry of Human Resource Development’s declaration of Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education as a Deemed-to-be-University includes Noorul Islam College of Engineering as its constituent teaching institution. The Padmanabhapuram Palace and the tranquil, lush green Velimalai base of the Western Ghat Hills are close to the university campus. The distance on the Kanyakumari Thiruvanthapuram National Highway from Kumaracoil Junction to the interior mountain foothills is only 1.5 km.

A director with extensive experience in the field oversees the full-fledged T&P Cell of Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education. This cell’s primary duty is to foster institution-industry interaction so that students can complete their in-plant training. Also, their project work as required by the university’s standards for educational requirements. The Cell works closely with important industries across India to connect students with employment possibilities. They receive ongoing training from reputable trainers on how to handle the hiring process.

Additionally, necessary guidance is given for higher education both in India and abroad. For the benefit of the students and to improve their career prospects, the cell offers books for competitive exams like the CAT, MAT, TOFEL, IES, and GATE as well as Soft Skill Development & General Knowledge. For students in their final and pre-final years, the university has started a series of training programs on how to take aptitude tests, go through interviews, land jobs, and succeed in their careers. Throughout the academic year, a sizable number of training initiatives focused on improving their general preparedness and competency are in progress.
