CMR Institute of Technology

Private engineering school CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) is situated in Bengaluru, India. The Visvesvaraya Technological University is affiliated with the technical and management school CMRIT, which has also received the nod of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Karnataka government has approved CMRIT. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has awarded CMRIT an accreditation grade of A++. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has granted accreditation to all undergraduate engineering programs.

Our goal at CMR Institute of Technology is to cultivate innovative thinkers who will promote positive change on a global scale. The physical education department supports this objective by instructing students in various sports and helping them to keep active. Building competitive teams in a variety of sports, including cricket, football, hockey, etc is the goal. In the event of insufficient attendance, the sports students who are exempt from attendance are separately certified by the HODs/Deans. With the previous approval of the relevant Deans, special lectures on the topics missed are planned for these students. If students miss internal assessments due to participation in sports, the concerned faculty, with the approval of the relevant HODs/Deans, makes the necessary accommodations.

With its many study spaces, research assistance, and reading, learning, and instructional resources, the CMRIT Central Library, located in the center of the campus, offers the perfect setting for intellectual curiosity. Modern ICT facilities were built to offer critically important services to promote excellence in teaching, learning, research, and extension. The user-centered facilities and services enable easy access to resources and the evaluation of scholarly data for learning and knowledge creation.
