Manav Rachna University is a renowned State Private University that provides education that is relevant to the global community. It was founded in accordance with the Haryana State Legislature Act No. 26 of 2014 and in accordance with Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956. The Manav Rachna College of Engineering (MRCE), founded in 2004 with the mission of developing better human beings who are socially and globally responsible, has evolved into the University. University got a QS I Gauge Overall Diamond rating with a Platinum rating in Academic Development & Employability and a Diamond grade in Teaching Learning Process, Faculty Quality, Facilities, and Social Responsibility for its aspirational vision and unique methodology.

The University’s Institute Innovation Council, which was established in accordance with the Ministry of Innovation Cell’s (MIC) of MHRD-AICTE programme, has consistently received a 4-star rating for the years 2019, 2020, and 2021.
The AICTE has granted approval to every engineering programme provided by the School of Engineering at MRU, including B.Ed. NCTE has approved the programmes offered at MRU.
