Doon University, with its emphasis on being a center of excellence, aspires to deliver high-quality education and to educate the most recent and finest developments in the field of Economics. We have adapted the program to match local ambitions. We created the course structure and curriculum with the goal of developing autonomous and creative thinking in students, preparing them for higher education and research.

LIBRARY

The University established the Central Library in 2009 to support the teaching and learning processes and it has since consistently made efforts to build a rich collection of learning resources. The Reading Section and the Circulation Section are separated. Furthermore, a lot of printed papers in both divisions, including textbooks, reference books, reports, yearbooks, manuals, and case studies.

HOSTEL

Doon University is a residential school. The students must stay in the Hostel unless specified otherwise. We urge students to stay on campus since we will force them to participate in group discussions and attend tutorials after regular sessions have ended. Which will allow them to clear any uncertainties in the courses and develop their interpersonal and communication skills. Girls and boys have separate hostels. Modern facilities are available in the hostels, which give single rooms for each student.

PLACEMENT

The Career Counselling Training & Placement Cell (CCTP) assists students in honing critical abilities and matching themselves to industry expectations. Prestigious firms and universities organize frequent knowledge-based events and activities to accomplish this . However, CCTP promotes student learning outside of the classroom and provides opportunities for internships and job placements.
